National Women in Roofing helps women succeed in the roofing industry through networking, education and mentorship.
Texas Traditions Roofing, a family owned, residential and commercial roofing company serving Central Texas, announced that Marketing Director Jacklyn Milligan has been selected to lead the newly formed National Women in Roofing (NWIR) Central Texas Council.
“The ladies in the Central Texas NWIR Council have helped me learn and grow within the roofing industry,” said Milligan. “I am honored to step into the role of chair so that I can help our organization continue to recruit talented individuals into the industry while also providing networking and learning opportunities for our members.”

According to GAF, President’s Club Award winners are selected from an elite group of roofing contractors that must first demonstrate proper licensing (in states that require it), maintain insurance, a proven reputation, and a commitment to ongoing professional training. Only one or two percent of roofing contractors nationwide qualify for this award, earning one, two or three stars for meeting specific criteria across high standards for reliability and service.
The Triple Excellence Award is presented to contractors who have distinguished themselves as top performers in all three categories of installation excellence, consumer protection excellence and training excellence.
In a letter to recipients, Gulfeagle Supply President Brad Resch wrote that the Gulfeagle Supply President’s Award was created to “recognize a select few contractors and leader in our industry for their loyalty and support of Gulfeagle, fiscal responsibility, and contribution to the roofing and construction industry.”
